Hey all. I just had my 98 vert in the shop and had the gears, KB subframes and Steeda Sport Springs installed. I am very happy with the gears, but the car is riding very rigid now. It looks great, but i need to get off this pogo stick. What should I install next? Do I need new shocks and struts? If so, which brand is good for reasonable cost and how much will they cost? Any other suspension suggestions? Thanks!

Probably should have done the shocks and struts at the same time...Yeah, these will help. Go with adjustables if you can afford em. Tokico Illumina 5 way adjustables are on my wish list with new springs.

I think if your stock shocks/struts are a little worn they make a bad match for performance springs, had the same problem on a friends' 98 trans am it bounced all over the place. He got some performance shocks/struts and it fixed the problem.

New shocks/struts Bilstein,Koni,Tokico. Sounds like the Tokico 5 way adjustable's would suit you well. I have Bilstein but they are stiff so if you like stiff the Bilstein are a good choice, all are far superior to stock.

I hear the Mach 1 tockicos are a good shock for the money. I dont know how much different they would be for you, someone with experience will have to tell you, but the 5 way adjustables are great, so I hear.
