Hey guys, i have a 1990 mustang with lakewood 70/30 struts, 50/50 shocks, d&d drag coilovers up front with their k member, and eibach drag launch kit. The ride is really harsh and i see the track maybe 2-3 times a year. i was wondering what ur opinions would be on making my current suspension more daily driveable without spending too much money and leaving some of the components?

If that setup rides harsh you are in some real trouble. A drag suspension generally rides better not worse. Your front coils could be worn out, as for coil overs don't last nearly as long as a stock style spring, in a DD.

Does the D&D k memeber have an optional spring perch setup? If so i'd go back to using a stock style spring.

the shocks are about a year old. the set up is all brand new but the ride is so much more bumpier than stock even. the car hits a bump and it feels like its gonna fall apart.

I know the feeling, but new koni adjustables, and energy suspension isolators cured my problems completely. Not gonna work for you.

I went and looked at the D&D k member. Looks to have very small if not none at all bushings in the control arms.
Your problem is not going to get better. You have more metal on metal attachment points, than a stock mustang. Most guys that have tubular k members don't drive the car very often.
