What size belt with no smog or ac?

What size belt am I looking to buy if I delete my smog and my ac?

I use a fms a/c delete, no smog, 3G alternator and u/d pulleys and I use goodyear gatorback part # 4060715. It's 71.5" and it was a tight fit at first but works perfect.

JASON. from what i remember the belt i used for a smog delete with a set of pulleys was a 770K6 belt. i have so many belts laying in the garage its hard for me to remember for sure. this diagram should help you find what your looking for. if you need help im me. joe

is there a way to remove the ac completly without buying an ac elimnator kit, or does the belt always have to go around something up there?

I used the FMS kit. No smog and no ac and it was a 70.5" belt. It was a real tight fit at first but the 71" belt stretched and started rubbing after a couple days.

the fms kit moves the powersteering up.....you cant just remove the ac and smog withoug buying an eliminator kit because the belt will rub against itself coming off the water pump.....so 70.5 for the fms ?

I use the same belt size as Grn92LX, but I think the 70.5 would have been a better fit. I have the FMS A/C removal bracket, no smog, U/Ds.

just keep an eye on your belt routing and belt tension. the wrong routing and too much tension may cause damage to you front main bearing, especially if your running a blower, i learned the hard way.

i run a 70.5" i did not put the a/c eliminator kit. i dont have any problems with it hitting the water pump pulley. i dont not run a tensinor cause the belt stays tyte!

Hey what size belt should I use then if I have deleted the smog and have placed a UPR A/C Pulley in place of my A/C? So basically All I did was delete the Smog if you look at it that way, I also have U/D pullies?

I have it installed using a 70.5" belt and do not run either deletes, and I run the tensioner with the belt above and below it. Works like a champ!

Blackthorn- You can pull the a/c and put a idler in its place like $uperstang talked about, but looks ugly and cost half as much as the delete kit..

When i pulled the a/c I just took some string... found out what the approx. size was and went to the store and picked up 2... that was the easiest way... just retured the other.
