I'd like to use a 125 shot dry Nitrous but I know my stock fuel pupmp isn't up to the task. My local shop is telling me not to bother with a 255lph and that a 190lph will be plenty. What confuses me is that they said that a 255lph is no louder/hotter/less reliable/heavier/anything than a 190 and it's only $20 more than the 190lph. So why in the world shouldn't I just get the 255? Is there a disadvatage to a 255 vs. a 190lph?

255 high pressure (GSS340) and be done with it along with a new fuel filter Install it yourself, its obvious that shop doesnt realize thata dry kit relies on FP to add extra fuel and you NEED a pump capable of handling that extra load. I got my 255 hi psi for $109 shipped from jd's.

Have to agree, put the big guns in now so you won't have to down the road. I had a 190 LPH in tank from Walboro then went with the 255 LPH high pressure when I put the S-Trim on. Should have went big from the get go, you do the same.

Is it ok to run the 255 one if you have a stock motor? I have to replace mine due to starting problems. What the difference between the high pressure and the normal 255? Thanks.

sure why not...we have a return base fuel system which mean all the extra gas just gets dumped back in teh tank.....i gues it could be bad becuase you intake fuel temp may go up ....but not enough
