What spark plugs should I run??

Dustin, I am south of you (108* today) and i plan to run 24's next change too. a slightly cooler plug should be fine, IMHO. N/A i would shoot for a gap of around .050" myself (I gap a little under the specs most of the time).

good luck.

I ended up buying autolite 25's. I did a search on here and it seemed that more NA people ran the 25s. But I still do not understand the gapping. I see everyone gapped there plugs different. What is the rule of thumb on gapping?

Dustin

Wyt is right - 0.052-0.056" should be the spec. LIke i mentioned earlier, since my ignition is old, i gap around 0.050".

good luck.

Yes -- always gap your plugs...at least just to check them.

Unless you had a specific reason not to, I'd stick with the factory spec. :nice:

Sorry, when I mean gap them I mean something other than stock. I was trying to firgure out the benfits of different gap. Such as BlueOvalStangGT gaps his at .035 since he is boosted. I was just wondering how that would help him out. And for a NA is would be more. I was just wondering how that all worked.

Hope that makes sense.

You just buy that gapping tool at any store let them show u because it is kinda hard for me to explain, the should know. Just get autolite 25s and gap them at .54 its all u need. Even with all my mods i still gap at .054 well not antmore with my new ignition kit i put it to .060.
