Im gonna go a head and get spark plugs alone with a few ignition mods from performance distributors (dyna-mod, screamin' Demon Coil, cap/rotor, and Livewires). What brand spark plug should I get? Does it really matter what spark plug, or should I just get stock motorsport plugs. Also, Performance Distributors says that I can run the plugs gaped at .060 with their Screamin Demon Coil. Is that ok, or should I just stick to factory gaping? Thanks

Go with either the Motorsport or Autolite spark plugs and I would still gap them at the factory gapping. I've been told to stay away from platinum plugs but I have some Platinum Autolites in my car right now and they are working fine.

I'd go with either Motorcraft or Autolite. Never had any problem with either. As far as gap, I'd stay with the oe specs. Just my opinion.

Dude, you work at a ford dealer and you have to ask a question like that. What's up? Don't you get a discount?

stick to autolite platinum and gap them at .060. i know this cause i spoke to a technician there at performancedistributors.com and this is what he recommended. the 5.0 firepower ignition kits looks like it'll help a lot, i'm going to get it also next paycheck

Platinums are garbage. Don't use'em. Go with what everyone knows...Motorcraft or Autolite. If you're feeling froggy then jump for some NGK or Denso Iridiums. The platinums may work fine in an all motor app. but I toasted 2 of them on 2 gear pull spraying 125shot. stay away from them.
