if you drag race and like good 60 ft times keep your stock ride height.

WTF
How does this answer any question asked???
Some people are willing to give up .02 in a 60ft time to make their car look decent

Either steel or aluminum in any brand should be just fine and allow you to get your front end aligned.

thank you all for your info, but i still havent had one question answered. what cc plates are good for the Steeda Sport springs? i was looking at the 'Shark' plates, but is there any advantage to steel vs. aluminum? thanks again

Go with any plate that uses four bolts to spread the load. This is much more important when you use coil-overs, but still a good idea.

UPR isn't known for having great quality, so I'd avoid the sharks. Steeda, Maximum, and Griggs all make good plates.
