What is the best suspension package I can get that includes shocks, struts, springs, cc plates. Right now I still have stock suspension and the ride is horrible. Every crack in the road is felt badly. Let me know what you guys have and how much it'll cost. BTW I have a 96' GT

I would do h&r springs, mm cc plates, bilstein ss and struts then get some global west subframes. I am right in the middle of this. these are the what I am going to try.

costs
springs $220-250
ccplates
pro 3i $160
maximum $200
Shocks and struts
bilstein $490
tokico Ilumina $450
koni adj $550
those are ebay prices that is the best I have found.

I have the Roush stage II suspension with the Bilsteins and I love it. Big upgrade from my previous GT that only had lowering springs and stock shocks. Feels really tight on corners....... :nice:

Up Front
UPR Tubular K-Member
UPR Adjustable Coil-Over Kit
UPR Caster/Camber Plates
Lakewood 70/30s

In The rear
Steeda Upper Control arms
Steeda Lower Control Arms
Sub Frame Connectors
50/50 Shocks

It rides alright

I've pretty much got the stock suspension, but have upgraded KYB shocks and struts and the car rides awesome for the most part...not rough, but firm. It also has the 17" wheels, so low profile tires are also part of it.

When I upgrade it further, I'm going with MM subframes (since it's a vert, this mod is long overdue), and some FMS C-springs. These springs don't give it enough of a drop to warrant CC plates so you'll save some money and are a Ford product, so a better ride might be maintained (at least that's what I've heard)

if you are really worried about money. you could always just get the mach 1 shocks/struts. they are only like $179 or something like that. you can alwasy do it a bit later as well. I just think the stock shocks and struts suck.

I know the mach 1 suspension is made by tokico, but are they the gas-pressurized ones or just the regular tokicos? If I did go with the mach 1 suspension would I be ok running eibach pro-kit springs with them?
