That would be a speed density computer. No need for a mass air meter.

DB1 is out of an 87 Mustang 5.0, speed density, SEFI, manual tranny. The engineering # is correct.

Thanks for the replies, its been a wierd week for sure as ive pulled two computers that didnt match the motors. Im positive this car was wrecked with this computer and the mass air motor in it. ( i say mass air becuase it has a MAF and wiring). maybe im missing something

Just for future reference when you're pulling these ECM's, The EEC-IV ECM's all have EEC-IV on the tag. Speed Density ECM's are marked with SFI-SD1 or 2 or 3, depending on the revision. MAF versions are marked with SFI-MA12 or 12A, again depending on revision. Your DB1 is marked SFI-SD1. The DX3 is SFI-SD3, while the popular A9L is SFI-MA12 and the A3M is SFI-MA12A along with the X3Z. From what I can see from the pin-out diagrams, SD and MAF computers will run either system. Enough of the pin locations are the same to be able to do this.
