What the hell is wrong with my alarm!?!?!

I just got this thing installed, worked perfect now whenever I try to arm it it doesnt chirp, and the LED light doesnt blink it just stays on constantly. Which means the thing isnt being armed. I read the manual and when you lock the doors its suppose to make a chirping noise. btw it's the viper791xv

make sure all doors are closed,lights are off etc.that alarm has so many features if you push the wrong buttons,it does some carazy *****.

do you think me diconnecting the battery has anything to do with it?

I think theres a strong possibilty,they have to be programmed when first installed as to what functions you want to use.

You have somehow put the alarm in Valet mode. Just open up the drivers door and then hit lock, unlock, lock on the alarm remote. When you do this the LED should go out.
