What Times Should I Run In 1/4 Mile

I was wandering what you guys think i should run down at the track. I have a 1994 vert 5.0L it has aluminum heads, custom ground cam. trick flow intake. injectors 30lbs, maf 75mm,75mm tb, probe 10:8:1 pistons. I would like to know what you guys think i should run the car has been custom tuned by dallas mustang. And also tell me what you think i should run on a 75 shot of nitrious

What kind of heads? Stick or auto? Those will make a difference right there. I could see that thing running low 13's with good traction (which might not happen depending on how your suspension is setup). That's what I'm hoping to get out of mine once I get my stuff put on and I won't have high compression pistons. It also depends on you as a driver. It just all depends.

EDIT: Oh yea, and I don't know squat about nitrous.

what kind of power did you make when you got it tuned.

since you have mysterious heads and cam and don't list the power that you made when you got it tuned, nobody will be able to even make an educated guess.

as they all said before, we need to know what the heads are, which trickflow intake you are running, what numbers you put out on the dyno, chip for the nitrous? Id say 11/12's on juice and possibly 12/13's on motor depending on alot of factors including ur susnepsnipon

Its a set of tfs heads the car made 360 to the ground on a tune and made 487 w nitrious is that a lil better. It has a trmec tko trans in it to and its a 5 speed with 373's

If it made 360rwhp, it should run into the 11's with traction and proper gearing on the motor alone.

paul isnt that an aweful lot of power for that combo??? i would have figured WITH the 75 shot, you prob get about 60 or so HP give or take a few, resulting in the 360 rwhp he has mentioned......360 seems high for that combo....

The motor has been stroked its a 347ci motor i left that off.

That would have been good to know. 360 to the wheels makes 11's pretty easy, dunno about the nitrous shot. I'm not familiar with nitrous.

Though that is true Paul, not everyone can drive like you in the 1/4 and if this guy has never raced before he could be in the 13s or 14s even if his car makes a lot of power.

I've been here for almost 3 years (regarless of what the JD says). This topic reminds me..... I forgot to tell you guys I have the $16K 5.0 Cammer crate engine in my car. Oh well, I don't remember things unless they're halfway important.

There's a guy here that owns the stang shop running a fox coupe with a all stock mod 4.6 with the upgraded heads and a 100 shot in the 11's! so it all depends on the driver! peace
