I am getting the CST FR500 seats for my car. My buddy has cloth seats, and wants to trade them plus cash for my '02 GT leather ones. I figure, why not, they are gonna be re-upulstered anyway right?

So the question is, how much are my Leather seats worth? What should I ask for money wise, considering that I will be getting his cloth ones in return?

Thanks for the help everybody!

Why do you want to downgrade to cloth seats from leather seats? That's absurd.

I would charge him around $250 for my two front leather seats if your car is brand new with under 5,000 miles on it. If your car is over 1 years old with more than 5,000 miles on it, I would charge less than $250 for both front leather seats. But on the other hand, I might be wrong. You can look at Ebay to see how much the Mustang leather seats go for there and then make a better judgement for what they might be worth. Good luck.

Like i said, I will be having them re-done into FR500 leather, and it will be all four seats, not just the front two.

Thanks for the input tho...

From what I have seen these go for, I would say between $500 and $700 for the set. Given it is your buddy, I would go toward the lower end of $500.

I agree w/ about $500-700 depending on condtion I would say all four seats are probaly worth the $700 but he's your friend and your getting his seats in return so you'd have to make the final call there.

Another possibility is Leather Seats and look through their color choices. HP TV, a show on Spike TV, used these for their Mustang project car.

If you were to eBay the seats they'd be worth about 600$.

In this case, He's your buddy and you're getting his seats in return. I'd trade the leather for the cloth + 200$ and call it even.
