What to do if gas is getting to spark plugs

I have a 1986 Mustang LX V6 CFI Auto


I think I might have a problem with my spark plugs getting wet and effecting my start. I'll have to check probably Sunday, but what does that mean. Does it mean I need to replace my CFI, or is there a leal somewhere else?
The plugs and wires are brand new, but the car was started on the plugs, and after that, it didn't want to start after about an hour.

Gas is supposed to get to your plugs...you should be glad it is

Check and see if the plugs are sparking (pull it out and hold onto it while someone else cranks )

I know that gas is suppose to get to the plugs, but I read if too much gets on them, it could effect you car from starting. When I describe my cars problem to people, they all seem to say the plugs may be getting too wet.

The plugs should be sparking, there new, and the wires are new also. If they don't spark, that probably means its the distributer right? If so, would I change the cap and rotor, or the whole thing?

It doesn't matter if the plugs are new or not. If they get too much fuel they quit sparking. At that time they are considered junk. If there is no spark REACHING the plugs then it could be the coil.
