What to do to run 1998 Cobra Wheels?

i think you can use the ranger drums with any wheels. the mark 7 stuff does have limitations. i think you need the sn95 spindles to run any dished wheels.

i have the mark 7 and ranger conversion with 5 lug waffle ponys. this conversion is easy and cheap.

I wouldn't use spacers, they put alot of stress on the studs. Just get some sn95 spindles from www.stangparts.com they sell used mustang parts.

Check on www.car-part.com for spindles and the calipers and rotors. I just looked and you can probably get the parts you need for less than $200 in PA, possibly even someplace close.

You can use spacers to make them fit, a friend's car had them when he bought it. But it is not the safest. He later got everything to convert it to SN95 since he wanted to do the conversion correctly.

If you use Mark 7 rotors with spacers, then you probably won't be able to get any of the lugs on because the studs are short, and you will end up rubbing the outside of the fenders. So use '94-'95 spindles, '96+ will work but it moves the wheel out more (by about 1/4"), and will cause rubbing problems, especially if the car is lowered. '94-'95 Spindles keep the stock width.

I have '94-'95 Spindles in the front and the wheel sits almost perfect, it sticks out a little more than I'd like, but it's still under the fender for the most part, but thats just how the back spacing of the wheels are. The spindles have very short studs so I have just enough room to put the lugs on.

It doesn't matter what you use in the back, if you use ranger axles the rear wheels will look sucked in. I am going to run MM bolt on spacer in the back of mine to push the wheels out maybe 1.5"
