What to do with $4000?

why tell the guy to save the money or invest it, hell maybe he wants to spend money on his car and this is throw away money.

I also think you should consider supercharging your car. as hotmustang331 said it's really hard to get good power out of these cars N/A, not only is the motor small compared to a LS-1 but a bigger reason is the way the motor is setup, the valves are too small and the bore is tiny. These motors respond well to FI because they are choked for air with the tiny valves and small bore.

If you are going to stay N/A and you want more than 300 or so RWHP you better plan on spending a lot more than 4k.

+1 for the blower

or save it. i was saving for a novi kit from mph, then i ended up moving for college. now i own a R6 that is faster than my stang would have been if i had blown it, and i still have the stang for friday nights:D

Get her built up

You never mentioned your goal...

Street machine? Drag car? Autocross? What do you want to do with it?

If it was me, I'd go with gears ($500 w/install) March pulleys ($200) Some cool rims and nice tires ($1,500) Midpipe ($250) Catback ($500) MM Subframes ($200 w/install) MGW shifter ($200) Xcal or Pred tuner ($400) and some Lowering Springs ($200)

That's almost exactly $4K and you will end up with one hell of a street machine! :nice:

yeah, im going off topic. The thread is gone and I just tried applying that code, and its no good. Im not getting the discount.

Whats going on? Is PS still gonna hook us up? Bullitt # 312 needs more grunt and Ive got money to burn. MT.com's prices + free shipping are looking pretty sweet right now.......:D

Seriously, myself and a friend with an 03 Cobra are both in the market for Magnaflow exhaust, would like some clarification :nice:

And I say again, keep saving.
B, drop me a line before you go elsewhere.

if the discounts dont work call up the guys at partshopper and theyll give you the discount and beat MT's price... they treat us real good here.
:nice:

I would start with a shifter, exhaust, and some gears. That will make huge difference for the time being. Besides, if your car is completely stock, even if you buy the blower, your going to want that stuff i mentioned anyway. Put the rest of the money in the bank for a while.
