What to do with 500$?

my friend has 500$, not a whole lot. Driving a 94 gt, frsh rebuild(stock) , cold air, 4.10's, tremec tko, steeda shifter, msd wires/coil/6al, bbk off road hpipe, flowmsters, has BF dR 275's for tires. I thought and intake(upper lower) would be good. Any suggestions on what would take him into the thirteens? His best time is 14.3? ANy ideas what to spend the money on or any ideas why his times are slow compared to the things ive seen on here?

I say tell him to get some suspension mods. Or some nitrous. I would save the intake idea untill he does the heads and cam.

good point, where is a good place for suspension mods? I also need to do a complete set up on my stang with some Con arms, drag struts ect....

I say go ahead and get the Intake, you will see good gains from it even w/ out the Heads/cam done. I gained 21 RWPH w/ my Cobra Intake and C&L Mass Air System.

I can supply a great $/HP ($150 outright purchase or $120 to do his) ported lower intake if he wants to conserve money to do other things with the other $350. I say get the ported lower. Then add some nice shorty headers (they were not mentioned above) otherwise, $350 should be enough for an fti cam, but I do'n know if it would be any better than an off the shelf cam because the heads are stock.
