if u have aod put 4.10's in blue is right but if u have t-5 i would say also 4.10 its a very long topic on witch gears to get on a t-5 half will tell u 3.73 half will tell u 4.10 i would say 4.10 its really all opinion, what u have to do is find a friend that has gears and see which u like more, it would probaly be easier if u have a aod lol, but t-5's are alot funner and faster

4.10's would be pretty good n/a, have to be easy on throttle, but too much gear with forced induction, unless your running slicks I'd assume.

I didn't know Densecharger made a CAI for 87-93 stangs. Gotta link?

dense charger does make them for 5.0's they dont have them to order on there site but u have to call them to order, i emailed them and they gave me all the info, its 290 for the full length and it comes with a 75mm pro m MAF, alittle pricey but from what ive heard the one of the best boosters, just go to www.densechargers.com

I hated the 4.10's with the 5 speed.
It revved too fast on the juice, you have to shift ever second.
It was almost as fast in the 1/8 with the 3.73 than the 4.10's if I would have had 300 more rpm's I wouldn't have to shift into 4th just before the line.It was either over revv and lose power or shift and cross the line before I can let the clutch out.It was that close. With the 4.10 I would have been in 4th gear in the 1/8 mile witch mean using over drive in the 1/4.now you see why I need the cam,to get the extra rpm's in 3rd.

ah i see, i might actaully go with the 3.73's when i order my gears, ive heard the 4.10's are really fun but latley ive been hearing bad things about them, maybe there too much fun, u can probaly hurt your engine after shifting after 5400rpm alot of times

You want the best bang-for-the-buck go with a nitrous dry kit.
I had a NOS dry kit on my stang for a year and never had any problems.
That nocked off 2 seconds!
Went from 9.5's to 7.80's.

4.10's are way to much in a T-5 w/o slicks

to much shifting its ridiculous

my friend granny shifts his and at 30 miles an hour hes in 5th

i could see 4.10's be OK with a engine that will wind up to 6200 rpm or something

Dry kit relies on the injectors to pump in the extra fuel needed when you spray the giggle gas, where as a wet kit you have to run fuel lines to the nozzle and when you activate the NITROUS it sprays both nitrous and fuel. Wet is Much safer and it allows you to run a bigger shot.

Dude mob, youve deffinately been watching way too much f&f Nitrous is normally activated by a wot switch, but thats only if you activate the whole system by another switch on the dash, in the center console, or where ever you decide to put it. But some people run window switches which only activates the nitrous at certain rpms (say 3000-6000 rpm) and it also disengages it when you are not in gear as to not blow your engine, and then as soon as you are back in gear it activates it aslong as you are in that specified rpm.

Edit: i suppose if you wanted you could activate nitrous by a button the steering wheel or shifter, but i wouldnt want to do it.
