what to do with tranny cooler lines?

as someof you kno im swapping my car to a 5 speed. i was just wondering, what should i do about the cooling line from the AOD in the radiator? they are separate from the radiator correct? how should i go about capping the lines?

Don't remember the size offhand, but just go to home depot or ace hardware and buy 2 plugs, teflon tape them, and screw them in.

Not sure what to do about the lines themselves.. I would think they'd come off when you removed the old AOD.

yea one i take them off the radiator ill take them off the tranny too and the ill just have extra lines... i was kinda thinking the same thing you said, i didnt think of teflon tape tho thanks

Yeah, for plugging the radiator, I would do just as Andy outlined.

It's probably not even necessary to plug the radiator -- but will make for it a little nicer in case you ever go back.

The lines can just be removed. They may need to be cut off, they look pretty well snaked in.
