When I get my short belt to bypass my smog pump, what can I get rid of?

smog lines, charcoal canister, lines on the back of my heads, tubing down to H-Pipe,smog pump.Anything else? Also, will this cause my engine to run worse over time,or will everything stay basically the same. The engine is an '86 H.O.

If your running cats, they're designed to run with the air pump. They may eventually clog if you don't. That's what I hear.

10-4 on the canister.I'll get some of the plugs.I had heard that you can take the pipe off the back of the heads, cut off the ends, turn them around backwards on the oppisite sides they came from and install the same bolts that were holding them in.In affect, use the ends of the pipe as blockoff plates.Make sense?
