what to paint inside of fuel tank with?

Since I moved my leaf springs inboard I have less room for my fuel tank. I was able to cut a few inches out of my old tank and re-weld it back together. Now I am ready to do it with a new tank. I am worried that the inside of the tank will rust where I re-weld it back together. Any ideas what I should paint the inside with and how?

Gas tank sealer

As long as you're not running straight methanol or E85 you can use Eastwood's tank sealer. Works great. Here's the link -

POR-15 has a fuel tank sealer too. I used it to seal a homemade engine oil-pan I made a while back.
