I just had a professional detail job on my paint done and it looks great. My question is in between taking it to him every 3 months for the works, what can i do to keep up the shine and protection short of just re waxing every time my self after a wash. Is there some sort of spritz that ties you over till the next wax job thats super easy or something of sort?

There are some great touch up detailer sprays you can use. See if he will tell you what product line he is using and if you can find one in that line for best results.

I use NXT wax and touch up spray in between washes/waxes.

I know for the compound (for swirl marks) and the sealent/glaze was a company called clearcoat. And then the wax he used was poorboys. I cant fine the clearcoat link, i'll see if i can find poorboys website and see what they offer.

Pretty much any "spray touch up wax" will basically be re-waxing. We tried a few different ones on our DD, and it amounted to spraying it on, letting it dry, and wiping it off. And if you didn't smooth it out after spraying, it could be spotty-so, when you think about it, you were basically waxing the car. If you keep it clean and have it detailed (not just waxed, but cleaned, polished and waxed) each time, it should stay looking good. Once a car is on a regular paint maintenance program, the paint won't have time to get dull. I don't have any personal experiance with poorboy's products, so I don't know about the durablility of their waxes though. Of course, it will always look it's best right after it's done!

I use this spray wax i got from my fiances dad who owns a detailing business. It is from ardex and it works great between details. I spray it on after every wash.

I live & die by Meguiar's quick detailer.

Same here....I have Meguiar's QD and a couple MF towels (one for paint, another for underbody, wheels, heavy dirt) everywhere I go
