I am goinf to be doing my t5 swap in about a month or so and i need to know where i can get all the bolts i need such as the flywheel to crank bolts cluth to flywheel, bellhousing to block bolts etc. can anything be reused? Can i ust go to the store and but say grade 5 or 8 hardware to use or is it somthing special. If i can buy them at say a hardware store does anyone know the sizes offhand? thanks

I just bit the bullet and got all the bolts from 5.0resto. See http://www.wcfords.com/articles/tech/t5swap/t5swap.html for all the info you need. If nothing else, I would suggest finding the T5 bellhousing to block bolts, as the 2 top ones on the aod are too long, I would not use washers to take up the extra.

I was fortunate to get all the stock nuts and bolts from my donor car. The only replacements I bought were the pressure plate bolts and dowel pins. I bought flywheel bolts too, but found my aod flexplate bolts were longer, so I used the aod's instead. I have read the AOD's were supposed to be shorter, which sometimes caused them to strip the threads out of the crank. Not sure what you are going to find when you unbutton your aod.
