What tunnel mods are required converting to AOD or T-5 type transmissions?

I pulled the shifter tower out of a '93 GT 5-speed and wasn't sure if it's used, or would help to be used in the conversion. I don't really need to know anything else about the conversion, I wasn't going to perform it, I was thinking about offering it up here or on Ebay, but if it's not a desired piece, I'll toss it into the trash. I'm trying to get some stuff cleared out that I'm not going to use and hopefully make a few bucks to go to my projects as it seems all regular money goes towards living.

stock t5 shifters are worthless, aftermarket units have the shift stop bolts, they are worth selling.

No, I don't have the shifter, I have the sheetmetal tower that is spot welded to the tunnel. Sorry I wasn't clear enough.

This is where, I think, the shifter boot bolts to. I believe the console also bolts to this piece as well. The green area in the pic below is the piece I'm talking about.

i dont think they are worth much, but if someone needed that part, it would greatly help them along on the rebuild process...because i dont know of anywhere that sells that exact peice.

I'm not tying to get a killer price for it, if it brings $5 I'd be happy. It just seems to me it'd be nice for the transition, as I said, I think the 5 speed boot attaches there as does the shifter for the automatic, although most probably don't use the stock auto shifter.

I'm the type guy that I like everything to have a finished look, which is why I appreciated the SN65 project so much as, even if you were to disassemble the whole car, with the exception of the stretch between the firewall and front wheels, you'd be hard pressed to find the transition had you not known anything about these cars, nothings hacked, everything looks 'done'.

At one time I was going to do a AOD conversion on my '65 coupe, which is why I saved this piece from the wreck I pulled it out of. I had planned on using the stock shifter at first, then upgrading to an aftermarket piece later, or possibly modifying the stock one in such a way that it looked like it might be original to a early car with a console. I plan on staying with a manual tranny, possibly even going back to a 3 speed. I won't need it to hot rod around, I'll have my '63 Fairlane drag car to do that with.
