What type grease for Odometer Gear?

We have gotten that little gear out (plastic, with teeth, of course half our teeth are missing!). The one that makes the odometer work, that's in the instrument panel.

Anyway, it has grease on it, but we don't know what kind of grease it is,

What should we use?

Hope someone can reply soon, cuz my car is out of operation until we figure this out.

Hey, we used "white lithium" grease....got online a little bit ago and googled odometer grease....think this will work fine. ;-)
