What Type Of Headers????

Im lookin into buyin headers for my Stang. I have a 2000 GT with cold air intake and an x-pipe exhaust sytem with no cats. its auto with around 100k miles. whats the best type of longtubes and shorties for my car? thanks again.

i wouldn't go with shorties, just my opinion and preference.

as for long tubes...go with JBA...best bang for the buck, best performance, adds a little extra gurgle to the exhaust...you'll love 'em.

JBA longtube headers......how much do they go for? should i try ebay, id rather not if i didnt have to...

they are about $799 i believe. you should be able to try ebay, summit, jegs, any mustang performance shop should carry them.

not sure wtf is up with JBA, but I can't seem to find longtubes for 99-04 gt's anymore. which really ticks me off cause that's what was going to go on my stang

so I'd have to recommend MAC or SLP longtubes. MAC being my primary choice.

haha alright thanks a lot im goin to be doin some research and shoppin around.
I need to tune it first before anything...im getting 13 mpg instead of the usual 16 or 17
