What type of plug wires to use?

I'm confused over all the different types of plug wires. What kind of plug wires do I need for good performance? I don't want to waste money on somthing I don't need. I have a street 10:1 compression 351W with a unilite distributor and a mallory promaster coil. Copper, Spiral, Suppression, 7mm, 8mm, 9mm, Heli-core, superconductor it's all confusing me. Set me straight Thanks

If you've got a post type cap, Ford Racing's 9 mm wires are tough to beat. $40-45 a set.

The only thing I really know about plug wires is that the thicker they are the better and the more shielded they are the better.
