What type of Septentine Belt are you running?

I need to replace mine, and I'm looking for the absolute quietest belt possible. I want one that lasts quite a while, as well. The one I have on there now makes noise (not squealing, just enough to let you know the motor is running), and I hate it.

What are you running?

not many options out there, i replace my belts with motorcraft belts. Might as well stick to OEM on that. My OEM one lasted 50K no problems, just changed it for cheap insurance on reliability.

if you dont want excessive noise, DO NOT get the gatorback belt. it will make your car sound like it has a supercharger. i would just replace it with a motorcraft belt.

I just replaced my belt yesterday with a Kelly Springfield belt. It runs pretty quiet and costs 18 bucks.

This whine sound doesn't last long .

I use to have slipping problem when shifting in 2nd gear on the spray and this belt solved my problem !

yep i have one on my 93 and all my buddys constantly ask me if ive added a blower since the last time they saw the car.

After installing my WP pulley I used a Goodyear belt, I ran it for almost 200 miles and got sick of the whine. I tried two different belts with the same outcome.

I just ended up using a Motorcraft belt.

I just replaced a shredded Gates belt with a Gatorback and it made a marked improvement. can't comment on the noise though cause I can't hear it over my blower. sure helps the belt slippage issue at the 13lbs of boost level my car see's.
