This is a bookmark of a page I've had for a while. Also a link to the reenmachine. I have the complete undercariage, wheel wells, inside front fenders, and engine compartment sandblasted. The car is very solid with hardly any medal work needed (only a few quarter size spots on the floor pan). I want to show off all the hard work I've done. Car will be used for local cruises and just enjoyment. I'm looking for opinions on how to finish things off.
1. what is the undercoating used on these two cars? Would it make sense to use Inside front fenders, and rear fenderwells? Anyone know how well it holds up and looks after time? I just hate the idea of sraping, and grinding, and sandblasting 40 years of crud off, only to reapply undercoating. Or would you just paint?
2. What are you thoughts of finishing the undercarage and engine compartment off in body color?
3. Anyone have pics they would like to post up?
4. Anyone paint there gas tank? All the suspension components will be painted gloss black or silver.
