Going to be replacing my stock k member (installing a MM piece) ..looking to pick up some new motor mounts. I have an energy suspensions urethane tranny mount now and i have a driveshaft (frpp aluminum d/s) rub issue and ive heard of other people having the same issue. Looking for the best quality/fitting mounts.

Thanks

energy for me. i know on the trans side theres an extra plate (maybe for extra preload on the urethane?) that iirc i left out for tunnel clearance with the old tko.

You will notice an increased amount of noise and vibration with both poly engine and trans mounts.

Not sure the case these days, but I've had both ES and Prothane. The ES seemed to be a bit smaller for both motor and engine than the Prothane's I put in my 90 months back. Beffier Prothane's were a bit trickier to fit in the engine mounts than ES's were years back but if you're doing a K member, shouldn't matter.

Stay away from the Prothane motor mounts in my opinion. I have them and they raise the engine up from 1/2"-1", which is the reason why I will be taking them off my engine when the time comes.

I am just going to go with the standard convertible motor mounts.

Ive been doing some reading and the energy suspension mounts seem to be about the same height as the conv mounts?

So energy suspension poly mounts are the shorter convertible mounts?

Edit. Apparently I can't read
