Just an update, I finally got my M/Ts today. They were covered with crap and blue paint, but some bead blasting fixed alot of that. Then they got solvent washed and I'm now waiting for the wrinkle black to dry.

I'll get some pics up in an hour or so, but only "before" shots. Wrinkle paint I swear is a PITA. I had to strip the covers and do it over because they didnt wrinkle. Now the repaint is doing the same damn thing.

I may just polish them if I cant get it to work.

GT-350R covers. Made them up from pics of originals cuz I'm too cheap to pay for the repro's...and too picky so I'd be really pissed if they were poorly done. Total cost was $30 including buying a good used pair of original covers.

I have the black krinkle Cobra valve covers and the Oval Air cleaner. It's a cool look on the 65 block that is all black.

Man, every time I see a Cleveland I wish I hadnt gone latemodel and built my C instead.

Update: I got the wrinkle to work. It worked a little too well, but its better than not at all. I'm going to sand/polish the fins and logo as soon as the paint has cured enough. The light areas are just reflection; these really are totally black.

Here they are finally. I must have spent 12-16 hours total trying to get these to look right.
