Which valcovers will clear with no spacers or any modifications to anything?? im looking for valve covers and i really like the style of the tall aluminum polished ones that say ford racing because i want to paint them and the letters but tall wont clear, what do you guys have?? any pics???

hhmm interesting... so have people successfully installed the Trickflow VC's without needing a spacer or anything and still have the filler neck in the stock location? I have access to many drill presses at work so that wouldn't be an issue.

i have the chrome valve covers from afm. they clear the aftermarket rockers and fit under the holley intake with no spacer.

I had the AFM valve covers but they wouldnt seal for ****. I tried all the different types of gaskets and always had leaks. Maybe they just didnt work well with the Edel Heads. I now have The Trick Flow Valve covers and they rock!

Edit: oh and with aluminum heads i would reccomend getting the trick flow VC studs because then you dont have to keep bolting and un bolting the VCs into soft aluminum threads. I hve them and love them.

I run Fox vc's with no spacer :D

I did have to modify them just a bit. I've posted the details before
but I did see you don't wanna have to go through any of that.

I posted mainly because I see you run a Cobra intake .

They sit just a tiny bit lower than the Edelbrock.
soooooo
Most peeps I see who run them use spacers.

has anyone used these anderson ford motorsport valve covers(with filler spout) with the SN95 throttle body setup?

Those are what i just put on my new set up. They are sweet but require some modification. What that might be, That is one of the small bugs im working on to finish my project.

Here is a pic of the dilema, the filler neck is to close to the IAC so the nipple that sticks out from the filler tube is a no go. Just trying to figure out a clean, neat way to go about making it work.

thanks any detailed pics or details in general would really help me decide. let me know what you do to make it work. do they clear the roller rockers pretty well? also with out the spacer does the sensor hit the valve cover?
