What will cause vibration over 85 mph?

you mean driveshaft alignment?

im saying, when you bolted your driveshaft to the rear end, did you use thread lock on those bolts? if you did not, those bolts could be backing out causing a vibration and potentially your driveshaft coming out :notnice: . has your car been doing this for awhile or did it just start?

It was doing it before I got the aluminum driveshaft and now that I think about it, it was doing it before the TKO500 also. It drives me nuts!

Wheel balance is about the only thing left if it isn't a bent driveshaft, bad U-joints, driveshaft mis-alignment, or a problem with a previous gear install or with the angle they were installed at (or something wrong in the differential period). Rest assured however it has nothing to do with your engine because it is not rpm-related..

Yeah those driveshafts are wicked when they come loose form the differential.

im willing to guess its not in your differential. Id check u joints, get your tires balanced and get an alignment and you should be set.
An aluminum driveshaft comes with new HD u-joints. Negative caster would cause a wheel shimmy as well.
