It feels like it's in the Tranny or driveshaft. I have a TKO 500 and an aluminum driveshaft.

...A Speeding Ticket

Could be alignment or somethin, can you get a feel for where it is coming from? do the d/s bolts have thread lock? they could be backing out

Check the balance of your tires also.

im saying, when you bolted your driveshaft to the rear end, did you use thread lock on those bolts? if you did not, those bolts could be backing out causing a vibration and potentially your driveshaft coming out . has your car been doing this for awhile or did it just start?

It was doing it before I got the aluminum driveshaft and now that I think about it, it was doing it before the TKO500 also. It drives me nuts!

Wheel balance is about the only thing left if it isn't a bent driveshaft, bad U-joints, driveshaft mis-alignment, or a problem with a previous gear install or with the angle they were installed at (or something wrong in the differential period). Rest assured however it has nothing to do with your engine because it is not rpm-related..

im willing to guess its not in your differential. Id check u joints, get your tires balanced and get an alignment and you should be set.

Yeah those driveshafts are wicked when they come loose form the differential.

An aluminum driveshaft comes with new HD u-joints. Negative caster would cause a wheel shimmy as well.

If the vibration cycles in and out, it is drivetrain related. If its consistant from 85 MPH on then its tires. (Balance, Bad belt,... etc)
