Unfortunately for me, i don't have a bassani catback, but most of the people i know have them (my buddy is a dealer and that's pretty much all he wants to install because they go on easy, always fit and lasts forever). Nobody complains about it though, it's probably like every other exhaust system, drone is rpm based, so rear gearing may determine who has it and who doesn't at highway cruising.
The kit's also come with inserts that go in the pipes that are removable.

I have a panhard bar and the only kit's that work with that are flowmaster and the dynomax ultraflo. Be switching to the ultraflow over the winter. Trust me, from what i've seen and heard from it i do wish i had the bassani catback.

The bassani catless SS x's are second to none, adjustablity of the 3 piece kit is infiinite. (this i do have)

Basically yes it had a k&n panel filter installed air silencer removed thats it..Stock headers,It had an Off road H-pipe and the flowmaster cat back with the super 44's...It was a 93 GT It had the nice deep flowmaster sound..

I have to make a sound clip of my 87 GT..now that sounds wicked...Mac shorty headers,Mac off road H-pipe and the older flowmaster 40's...it does have a supercharger so its putting more air into the motor so its LOUD....lol.

I've used Mac products on 2 mustangs and have never had a problem. I ran shorties with an offroad H back in the mid '90s on my '93 for several years, and I had some long tubes on my current mustang for over a year with a prochamber. I switched to Kooks when I wanted to go to a 1 7/8" setup, but I am still running the prochamber.

My buddy had a 1 5/8" shorties, 2.5" offroad H, and 2.5" mac mufflers and it sounded awesome.
