what would happen if I hooked up an air compressor to my intake?

like the huge ones that you plug in? I wanna fill it up then sit it in my passenger seat and run the hose into my intake.

I believe he is trying to create the gheyest f/i setup ever known to man.

Something that is even gheyer that a power inverter/leaf blower combo...

you'd never get enough CFM from an air compressor to make it worth it.

A huge compressor for auto painting provides about 25 scfm. The engine needs well upwards of 500 cfm for boost.

That actually works. The next gen lightning that was cancelled had a setup with A/C coils inside the intercooler. During cruising or coasting, the A/C would kick on, chill the coils inside the intercooler for a cold charge when you go WOT.

yep, that's what gave me the idea. i grew up in the generation of cartoons, and mtv. i no longer have an imagination that could come up with something as simple as "using the ac to chill your intake charge" .

killy, looking to throw that unit on your kewbra?

Hell no... I can barely afford the premium gas...

But it is very similar to what you were describing
