what would it take to put a t45 into a fox 5.0 anyone ever done it how hard would it be i think i can get one cheap if it'a worth it whats the difference between a t5 and a t45?

why would u want to? a t45 is a piece of junk!

Gearing is similar, but it'll handle more horsepower. It's torque rating is about the same as a T5 "Z" from Ford Racing, but it has higher gearing.

thats all good info but can i put it in a fox and how hard would it be

First off unless a 4.6/5.4 is going under your hood it won't fit. The bellhousing on a t45 is integral to the trans, it won't bolt up to a 5.0/5.8 block bolt design.

New input shaft and some sort of bellhousing. Contact D&D, Astro, or Pro-motion. Hanlon ect.

Those guys should know something.

EDIT; ^^^^ didnt know the bellhousing was like that. cool
