Just out of curiosity, what would y'all guess is about the average horsepower numbers on cars up and running in our section? Say if you figured in all of the active members 79-95 what do you think would be about the average. To those that have been around awhile would you say that the numbers have gone up or down?

Well firstly, the "group" has changed.

Despite the membership total, the typical 15-20 that respond the most is the group in my opinion.
Over the last year alone, that group has dwindled to about half that, replaced w/ new names.

So, long story short,
Total population= 215-250
The group that I'm referring to= 400-450
The new group= 215.

Good question! We can chime in and add it up if ya'll wanna.
A few things have changed for the better since, but my last dyno session before the changes yielded 480/430 at the tires

So put me down for:
-480rwhp
-430rwtq

N/A=about 220rwhp plus I have a nitrous kit at present. Plans are 350+N/A by this time next year. Decided to keep this mostly a street car. No cage,no glass hood, stock style interior, etc. But I want enough to run low 12's when I do go to the track N/A. Maybe a little quicker with the juice(unless they kick me out)

Mine is yet to start, but my Exploder w/cam setup and decked heads shouldn't yield more than 310 to the wheels (350-ish at le crank).

I'll let you know when I Vortech the bish.

Is that a trend you've seen before?

I'm not there yet, but this spring I hope to be real close to 400 hp. It's been a long drawn out process, but I think this spring it finally happens.

Are you planning on upgrading injectors? I see you have 24#'ers in your sig. Those won't support 400hp.

300 seems to be a popular target goal. @A5literMan I think I've asked before but what heads are you running?

Yes, I have 60s waiting to be installed. I know they're a little much for my setup but the price difference justified me buying them and I have room to grow if I ever choose to without having to change them again.

I use this analogy with every liberal I meet. Drives them nuts.

Hey YOU make over 50,000 a year? Why don't you give everything you make over $50,000 back to the government so they can redistribute it to the poort?

Hey YOU made straight A's in college. Why not give up some of those A's for C's. It's only fair.

I've found liberals want everyone but themselves to give things up for the "greater good"
