well i was on my way home from an interview today and i saw this car at a lot close to home its an 1994 mustang gt 5.0 5 speed. I talked to the guy and got to test drive it and it was a blast alot diffrent than my 2.3 stang. Well i got to talking to him and found out the air dont work and the vent only blow defrost and floor, the passanger window motor is almost dead and the paint is badand has some small sents and dings the one good thing is that it only has 77k on it and the motor looked real clean and all stock after talking to him he said as is he would take 5,600 it has 6,100 on the window well i just got home and kelly blue booked it and it came to 3,545 and at best it got 4,500 i loved driving it first gt to ever drive. im just not sure if i should hold out and get a newer gt or cobra. should i just take the print out and see what happens?

Go with your gut, seems to me like you should skip it and find a better one. For that price it won't be too hard.

I agree, find something else, gears, 3.08's, fuel mileage, no idea.

just for your info. the a/c only blowing through the defrost is an easy fix. it will cost you about 2 dollars to fix.

I also have the 2.73's and get 20mpg. Beat the piss out of the car on city streets= 20mpg. Drive 70mph on the highway= 20mpg. It is running a little rich though. I haven't bumped the timing yet. I think I'll be able to get 23-24 out of it with that, and a good tune-up. Having stock exhaust (if it does) will lower that number a bit though.
Brandon
I would pass on this one.

If the engine is in good order you will get an easy 24mpg on the highway. I get 22-23 mpg with mine cruising 70 mph with the AC on and with 3.73s.

i picked up my car with 99,000 miles bone stock. car drove fine when i bought it. less than a month after having it i had a bunch of problems. its not the motor that you have to worry about, its all the accesories ( for me at least). within the year i have had the car i must have spent close to 3,000 (maybe more, stoped counting) in fixing it. i am not a mechanic so that is with labor included . to name a few things that needed to be replaced... master cylinder, tie rods, ac compressor, clutch, radiator, cap, plugs, wire just to name a few. basiclly all im trying to say is that if your getting a stock ten year old car you will more than likely need to replace things. i dont regret gettting my car at all im just saying dont be supprised when you gotta lay out the cash.

The a/c sounds like a simple vac leak. Window motor can be rebuilt (just plastic balls) no big deal.

Does the a/c not turn on or just blow through the vents??

im not real sure on the ac i didnt really check i just know when i turned the knob it would only blow from those to spots. but after talking with my dad about it im going to skip it. i should be going later this week to see about a 90 5.0 vert. After driving that 5.0 it was awsome all ive ever drove is a 2.3 stang and i moved a 95 6 cyl. well im hoping that i can get this job and my car will hold out about anouther year till i can get me a gt or cobra im 21 and have good credit so i should not have a problem getting a loan. thanx for all the info
