What did I do? I just tried to find a long TB thread. I saw all the numbers that David put in the opening post and thought that might be a good one.

That said, I often don't get wrapped up in the theoretical threads, nor do I even read most of them. :rlaugh:

I could potentially send you my FMS 65mm TB, which isn't much better than stock as far as cfm flow though and I believe you have that already.

But if anything I could take it off my car and send it your way...

I'd prefer you get a 65 of a better flowing brand though:)
 
oh darn

I settled with 65mm FMS. anything else would be an over kill for me. i was thinking about going bbk or edel. but i liked the fact that it came with all new sensors. what do you guys think should i take it out and put a better flowing one? for my set up? and how much flow difference am i gonna have?

Can't believe we are doing this again....:nonono:
 
Hollywood - Your throttle body looks fine for the cfm your engine can take in. Killercanary on here was running 112.51mph in a 3600lb (maybe a bit less) on a h/c/i car, looks like it wasn't holding it back:) He was running the FMS 65mm TB.

What I was saying to Sage was that I would rather him compare 65-70-75 of the same brand, and not 65 (FMS), and 70-75 of an Accufab. It would't be a consistent comparison...

The 65mm from Accufab flows more than the 65mm from FMS...but most of the time the FMS unit will work...as killercanary show.
 
I'd compare anything someone is willing to send me...so far nobody has offered to send me anything really...I do have a bbk75 so idealy if someone has a bbk 70 and bbk 65 i could compare the same brand
i'm willing to do a total of 3 dyno runs, otherwise it would cost too much money
