what'll be louder-o/r H or good catback?

o/r X or H or a catback? which will be louder on my 97? just one or the other, not both. I want both eventually, but if I can get almost the sound out of a 150$ midpipe and save on the catback i'd like that.

def. get more power from any o/r mid-pipe than any catback. would help sound also.

if u are looking to only improve sound, catback would prob. be what u want. i was just saying, alot more power from mid-pipe than a catback. prochamber made my stock mufflers a bit deeper & louder but it didn't turn them into magnapacks or anything.

so do u have stock mufflers? my friend has a bbk off road hpipe and it sounds mean and he has the stock mufflers. i have the same w/ flowmaster 40 series mufflers then dumped and mine sounds even better.

Going from the stock midpipe to an O/R midpipe is night and day as far as sound and performance is concerned.
