well, I managed a 14.87@93.3 MPH completely stock, 10* timing, 87 octane, everything stock!... w/ a stick (of course )

-a great driver w/ an auto could (very doubtful, but possible) do 14s... but only by like a thousanth of a second... most people get VERY low 15s w/ a stick (after some practice) and a mid 15 w/ an auto...

-that's why God invented CAI and Superchargers

From the factory on street tires
Coupe high 14s
Vert low 15s

What about with a midpipe, shifter, pullies and catback on a 5spd? If you look at my sig, you'll see why im curious.
-I heard that the 5.0's respond very well to exhuast mods, even better than my 4.6 did and i definitely felt a gain with my x-pipe.

I ran consistant 15.3's with just drag radials and catback exhaust. After my 3.73 went in I am running 15.0's Im sure there's a 14 sec capability here but Hopefully I wont break anything next time at the track. I have a 5-speed and a vert.

That is funny, not laughing at you, just
how you have it at those exact two
numbers(but with a good driver) I do
not Know if it was sarcasm or not but
really think it would be those exact numbers
for so many reasons. Made me laugh thats all.
Off topic... I read on here a guys 87gt stock
thats 225hp around 3200lbs? or more
was......16.33@86.mph 0-60=2.67? or close
........You think????...........slow?.........

I gonna have to say that those times would be with a vert and an suto. Just guessing though. If its a coupe and a 5-speed with is the exact opposite, then some more practice would do wonders.

5 liter fever... you aren't stock w/ those numbers... trust me on that... you may not know it, but you have something... possibly a superchip or gears or something.... it is sheer mechanics of it, a 3600 lbs car w/ 215FWHP simply cannot go that fast, I don't doubt you could do a 14s stock, but no way a mid 14s...

-the absolute best drivers in the world made a 14.799@94MPH on a stock 94GT... and, (no offense here) but I really doubt you're better, or even as good as they are...

-not trying to flame ya man, just saying it isn't possible w/ our cars... despite your slips (btw, not saying you didn't get those times either )

i dunno man i didnt really believe it either, but trust me, the guy that owned the car before me did nothing to it except put a k&n on it. he knows nothing about cars, racing, etc. he was also the original ownerbut yeah.....i've known him for about 5 years, he's 100% car-stupid, no way he did anything to it.
