The black coating is like a teflon coating to reduce friction on moving surfaces. Those pistons are saweet......and yes, they probably cost a grip.....LOL What is your applicatioin Beefcake?

Click to expand... 2011 5.0. 10:1 compression, down 1 pt over stock. probably 12 psi will be doing a set of jpc heads and cams as well. planning on 10.2 to 10.3 in competition and dip into a 9 at will....
