Whats it worth????

My buddy was down in Texas and spotted a 65 Mustang rear end sticking out of a shed in the middle of nowhere.

Heres a rundown

65 Mustang Coupe
289ci
4 Barrel Carb
4 spd
Posi rear???
White Interior, not pony.
Butternut yellow, faded but not rusty, and no wrecks ever
2nd owner, owned since 68, 65 year old woman.

i dont have any pics, but from what he says it has all FOMOCO markings on all the hoses and wires, etc.
the only things that dont look original are the exhaust pipe and muffler, and battery.

the Odometer shows 98k miles and doesnt appear to have been rolled over.

The woman who owns it has tried to give it to the grandkids, but they dont want it cause its OLD



my question is, what would you all pay for it, she says she'd like to get 5 grand for it but im guessing she might take a bit less.

sounds like 5000 might actually be right......maybe even a little more ? factory air that works....4 barrel, 4 speed.....sounds like u should def. def. def. go for it
