due to the lack of time and not wanting to come off the cash I am thinking about selling my 1990 notch.

the car is sitting and really needs a paint job, its rust free but the previous owner(s) put 2 more paint jobs over the stock paint and it really doesnt look too good anymore.

the motor is basically new, never started, not a penny was spared, I think I have about $7000 into the motor (parts/machining). When I started the project I had to keep emissions in mind, here in northern IL we have to get our cars tested every year but they just recently changed the law to anything 95 or older does not have to be tested.

heres what I have.....

91 block
eagle forged crank balanced with a 28oz fluid damper and SPEC aluminum flywheel
the crank was also turned down so it would clear the piston skirts, that should have also given it a little weight savings!:nice:
eagle H-Beam rods
SRP .30 over pistons
Trick Flow main girtle
ARP main bolts, I cant remember if I put main studs or if they were the heavy duty bolts, I'll have to check..... I know I didnt get any cheap bolts!

Canton road race oil pan with pick up.
Melling Hi-Vol oil pump
the mains were honed and all clevite bearings were used

Ford E303 cam with new Crane timing chain which was degree'd by my machine shop. I dont remember which chain I bought, I know they had one with 3 timing settings and one with 7? I think I got the one with 7, it has 3 keyways on the crank gear, i think the other marks were on the cam gear.

Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Heads WITH O ring groove incase I ever decided to put a supercharger on it, it wasnt in my budget at the time but I figured it was an extra $100 for the heads that were already machined, it would cost me more to have them machined later! always think ahead!!!!!!!!!

the heads are the STUD mount style with Trick Flow..... 1.6 roller rockers, are the 1.6's stock size? I went with stock size so I didnt screw myself later when it was time to pass emissions. Those heads are held on by ARP STUDS!!!:nice: :nice: :nice:

Trick Flow chromoly push rods
Trick Flow Track Heat Intake
Ford 30# injectors with Aeromotive fuel Rails
all of the external bolts are fancy stainless steel 12pt ARP bolts aswell.
BBK shorty headers

and i topped the motor off with some wicked aluminum sheetmetal valve covers, those covers make the motor!
The block was also powdercoated red and had new brass freeze plugs installed.

with the car i have 2 T5 trannys, I havent looked up the numbers yet to see if either of them is a WC, I had planned on having them rebuilt before they went into the car and having one for a spare.
I also have 2 stock blocks that SHOULD be good, one is out of an 88 the other is a complete 85? carb. motor all in pieces. i dont have the heads, those were traded for the other T5.
I also have a ton of misc stock parts....lifters, brackets...etc I'm sure most of that is useless.

one thing that my motor does not have is new lifters, I DID NOT bolt the heads and intake down, someone told me that the lifters were fine to use with 100K on them, and someone else told me not to use them so I decided not to..... and never bought a new set.

ah..... more stuff I forgot I had...... I have a black dashboard, black door panels in decent shape and a bunch of other misc. interior parts. that stuff was supposed to go in my other mustang but I sold it before I installed it all.

thats all I can think of for now........

if you were in the market for an awesome mustang project, what would this be worth to you? I'm not looking to sell it although I think I would rather have the money in my pocket right now to invest in other things.

the car is togeather, drop a motor and trans in and it can be driven.

the block is all assembled, the heads/intake are just mocked up for now.

1500-2000? now thats just silly! I could part it out for more.
