I'm new here. I have the opportunity to buy a 79 Cobra 5.0, automatic and I'm curious as to what price I should be comfortable with and what would be too much. Car has been sitting for several years. The engine has some typical bolt-ons. Full exhaust. Body is not perfect, but its very solid in primer. Rear end is a stock 7.5.
I'm not looking to restore it to be a factory Cobra. Looking for a fun street strip car that won't cost me crazy money.

P.S. Does anyone know if this year Cobra came with a specific rear end ratio? I can't seem to find a definitive source anywhere.
