haha been watching this thread waiting til my vert was gone ...as of today it is so I can say. I screwed sheet metal into the floors where it was rusted then fiberglassed over it and coated the crap out of the underside with spray on undercoating.

Im not quite sure this can be considered ghetto rigging but this is certainly ghetto something I am sure. Redneck no doubt at the least. But for your enjoyment....ghetto/redneck engine removal, trans, exhaust, rearend, and whatever else.
I have tape covering a spot int he back of the head light that got melted when bulb came loose. My armrest and ash tray door lid both stay closed thanks to velcro. My nitrous nozzle in my power pipe wasnt quite straight into throttle body so it has a couple zip ties holding it straight.
Back in my "less established" (aka poor) days i had a few rides with soup can and hose clamp exhaust patches. I had a honda accord that had 80lb test braided fishing line with a washer tied to it for "inner door handles" lol. I have also done the electrical tape on the striker as well. ahhh being broke....
