whats the deal with the bullit springs

The Bullit springs were designed for the Bullit Mustangs. They are lower than the stockers and higher spring rate also. Ford had Tokico shocks & struts on it for a matched package. It only lowers a car app 3\4" to 1" lower than stock. They are good springs with the matched shocks & struts. Mach I springs, shocks & struts are comparable to the Bullit pieces.

Its kinda weird....people who dont have them, look down upon them cuz they are basically just stock springs for another car and cuz they are inexpensive. People who DO have them absolutely love them and have fairly few complaints about them. They arent super high performance springs and they do not "slam" your car. They also do not give you a cadillac feeling ride. But they do a bit of everthing fairly well. If you are only planning on using your car as transportation with a few stoplight romps then this suspension is perfect. I had it on my last car for about two years. I had ZERO complaints about it. I wished it had been a bit lower, but like I said. I did nothing perfect, but it did just about everything well. Dont listen to the nay sayers....I bet they have never had it on their car. :)

Oh and by the way, I just bought a '94 that already had H & R springs from Maximum Motorsports. The specs are that it lowers the car 1.5". It looks almost exactly like my last car with the Bullitt suspension.
