bg00gt said:Yup i power shifted at the track all last year and it did finally cost me a clutch. But damn its fun getting sideways in 2nd gear.I wondered to all you guys who do power shift correctly how many rpms do you gain during your shift?I usually gain about 300 i was wondering if that was good or not?Chime in folks.
2002BLGT said:Ive done it so much that i dont gain but at most 100 to 200 rpms because i try to pull the gear shift out of the tranny while im accelerating , and side step the clutch after i stomp on it , some people think ive got an automatic with a hellish shift kit because they never hear any lag between when im racing . hurst shifter, stock clutch 34 K miles , needs new one LOL
