I am trying to replace my worn and barely functioning driver side seatbelt retractor in my 89 hatchback. I've found 2 part #'s and I'm not sure what each one contains as far as parts...can anyone give me a more definitive answer as to what each includes?

First is E9ZZ-61611A73-A. The only description of it I have is that it is a "1-pc belt for driver side for hatchback/sedan"

Second is F0ZZ-61611B09-C. The only description of it I have is that it is a "2-pc retractor for driver side".

The second one made no differentiation between hatch/sedan and convertible ?!

I don't want to spend a lot of money in ordering the wrong part...any help would be appreciated.

I think I'd probably call a ford dealer, give them both numbers and ask the difference. Ask them the prices and if the online ones are cheaper, tell the dealer you want to think about it.

I don't know, so I don't want to give you false information.

the e9 designation would be for 1989 model year, while the f0 should be for the 1990 model year. A lot changed in 90, but the front belts were basically the same, however to play on the safe side stick with your first choice.
