what's the diifference between convertible v8 springs and hardtop?

I am looking to buy some eibach sportline springs for my 89 convertible GT and they only list them for V8 coupe models...but there are two listings for the pro kit. I don't like the stance that the pro kit gives, is there really a difference? I always thought coupe and convertible springs were the same.

The difference is vert springs have a lower spring rate then coupe/hatchbacks do. This makes for a softer ride, and keeps the body twisting to a minimum. I used Eibach Drag Launch springs that are "not made for verts" but they worked fine. Eibach suggested to not use front spring isolators, because it would make the front sit higher then a coupe. That's what I did and it worked perfect, and I didn't have any squeeks or anything. Good luck, bro.

ok..just checking. I was planning on installing the kenny brown subs with jacking rails later on. I also have steeda aluminum lowers and double adjustable uppers for the rear with koni adjustable front struts and rear shocks. cool...thanks
